EmuloMobile

Keep the app running

Some Android manufacturers close background apps aggressively to save battery — which can interrupt a running automation. Here is how to prevent it.

Why it happens

Several brands — Xiaomi (MIUI), Samsung, Huawei, OnePlus, Oppo, Vivo, and others — shut down apps running in the background more aggressively than stock Android, to save memory and battery.

When that happens to EmuloMobile, an automation that was running is stopped by the system. This is a device behavior, not a bug in the app.

What to do

On the real phone, keep EmuloMobile allowed to run in the background:

  • Disable battery optimization for EmuloMobile.
  • Allow the app to auto-start (auto-launch), if your brand has that setting.
  • Lock or pin EmuloMobile on the recent-apps screen so the system does not clear it.
  • Keep the screen-capture and accessibility permissions enabled.

Find the exact steps for your device

The exact steps depend on your phone brand and model. The community site “Don’t kill my app!” lists them per manufacturer — open it, pick your brand, and follow the instructions.

Open dontkillmyapp.com

This is mostly relevant on real phones. On emulators (BlueStacks, MuMu) it rarely happens.
